Dear Julio / Sareena,

thank you for your message. At moment communication in IAEVG is possible only top-down. I (a simple member) have no ways to contact other members. Nor I know who they are (the IAEVG website doesn't list them). Even national corrispondts are not listed on the IAEVg website.

It would be sensible:

1- to set up an electronic discussion list between all IAEVG members
2- to list IAEVG members' and national corrispondents' names on IAEVG website.

All the best,

Leonardo Evangelista

Dear Julio and Serena,

I am interested what is progress in implementation of EVGP i.e. how many practitioners applied, how many got certificates, what are experiences (difficulties) etc.
I wish you good work but also good time in Buenos Aires.

Best wishes, Sasa

Dr. Julio Gonzalez Bello:
Greetings from Taiwan!
I am planning to go so I am working hard to the oral presentation and preparing for the PowerPoint file related to the topic, “Evaluation of a group career guidance approach using positive psychology on college students’ spirituality, state anxiety and problem solving status” 2008 AIOSP/IAEVG International Congress Guidance.
I will register to go to the conference after getting our government grant National Science Council Award by the end of this month. I am looking forward to attending the conference and seeing most of the board members. I need to pray before making the important decision. Now, I am for sure to go because I will finish the study during the summer.
Best Regards!
Helen (Huiling Peng)
Substitute board member

Dear Sareena,

I am so glad to hear from you via Dr Julio Bello. I had earlier sent a concern to be included on the agenda for discussion thus: How do we promote excellent academic performance with integrity of heart? This question has arisen due to what one observes happening in schools at all levels.Instructors/teachers, pupils/students and parents or communities in many cases are involved in education malpractices.

I feel elated to belong to a body like IAEVG.I truly complement my coleagues for reaching out to us far and near through this media. I wish there were ways of getting information on SPONSORSHIP and ACCESSABILITY to VISA to attend the Argentina Congress,2008. I still want to try if my abstract would be accepted with the registration fee of US$300.00
Thank you.
Yours truly,

Dear Dr. Bello,
Many thanks for your e-mail requesting members to come forward with proposals which you may kindly raise at the forthcoming Board meeting to be held in September.
We are your a very new member and perhaps the only one in Bangladesh. We are interested to expand our activities , but constraint of fund is there. Whether IAEVG can come forward with a helping hand for funding or for finding out funding sources for our various programmes in the field of IT education and other Vocational & technical training to be imparted to the unemployed or under-employed young people of a least developed country like Bangladesh may kindly be explored by the Borad members at your personal initiative --- for which we shall be grateful.

I look forward to hearing from you. With my regards,

Sincerely yours

Dear Dr. Julio Bello,

Here are my questions:

Does a global strategy in career guidance development exist in a term of professional-practical recommendations for development in this specific area in the regions, especially for the EU?
Is the system of career guidance developed as a part of University in the form of different centers established as a unique entirety which is one part of national strategy of career guidance development or is it a part of the system in whole connected with previous educational levels?
What are the results of research of career guidance counselors’ competences and whether the competences have been changed in regard to previous years?
Is it possible to organize enrolment system for High Schools through the software applicable program for enrolment in preferable High School, on the basis of acquired points during elementary school education and points acquired on the entrance examination that includes two tests ( Serbian language and Mathematics) and doesn’t include acquires in other school subjects nor work competences in specific work fields?
Thank you very much for giving us an opportunity to ask these questions.

Yours sincerely,

Visnja Helajzen, psychologist
